Temkin Senior Sales Manager, Robert Haight, said, “It is great to expand our product line by adding a product that will better serve the baked goods and other food industries.”
The new expansion for Temkin is a part of their ongoing growth strategy to strengthen their offerings in multiple markets. EnVizaj has had continual growth and success in the print industry for more than 5 years, specializing in variable data printing. The creation of Current Print Marketing will incorporate the experience that EnVizaj has achieved in the industry and will combine it with the extensive sales and production efficiency of Temkin.

NatureFlex™ Gusseted Bags are based strongly on renewable resources (wood-pulp sourced only from managed plantations). This cellulose material is naturally biodegradable and features texture, gloss, and clarity similar to traditional BOPP. When properly composted, Temkin’s NatureFlex™ bags will biodegrade in as little as 15 weeks. Given the film’s unique cellulose composition, NatureFlex™ bags are also100% recyclable with paper inputs.

Self-supporting bottom gussets allow for upright presentation and facilitate the packaging of bulkier goods. For sensitive products, hermetic seals and high-barrier films (Clear 2.0mil LLDPE laminated with .48mil PVDC coated PET) provide additional protection.

While BioCPP is better for nature, it's also better for seal strength, wrinkle resistance, and shelf life than other eco-friendly films. BioCPP retains many of the characteristics of traditional cast polypropylene (CPP) film and can be used to make a variety of Temkin's popular flat and side-weld products including flat bags, handle bags, cone bags, header bags, sheets, sleeves, rolls, and more.
The decomposition of BioCPP is initiated by contact with microorganisms found abundantly in soil, landfill, and compost environments. BioCPP products break down into mineral and organic compounds with or without the presence of oxygen and leave no toxic residue. Since this process does not utilize heat, light, or physical stress, BioCPP will not break down during storage.

Payson, UT November 8, 2007 Floral industry expert Cindy Rapshus officially joined Temkin International, Inc. in June of 2007. Rapshus is now serving as vice president of business development for Temkin International and Element Imports.
Cindy is a veteran of the floral industry and has earned a reputation for growing industry sales and profits for Fortune 500 companies. She has held various buying, merchandising, and management positions for these corporations and also owned and operated the distribution company, The Floral Source, Inc.
Cindy's vision, merchandising savvy, and passion for creative marketing are key to her new role with Temkin International. Most recently, Rapshus led the Albertsons floral department, overseeing Merchandising and Procurement for a nationally coordinated program for approximately 1,800 floral departments in 11 operating divisions. She has also been involved with other fine floral organizations such as Jewel-Osco, The Roy Houff Company, and Dominick's Finer Foods, all Chicago based operations.
Rapshus was recognized by the Produce Marketing Association in 2003 as the Floral Marketer of the Year and received the 2002 Eagle Leadership Award from Albertsons' Executive Committee.
Rapshus now coordinates her efforts with Temkin International, Inc.; Temkin Plastics, Inc.; and Element Imports. Her responsibilities include managing mass-market programs, assisting with product development, and coordinating efforts between Temkin divisions.

President Danny Temkin began the company in a small corner of Los Angeles' Fresh Flower Market in 1980 when he started taking orders to replace cellophane with polypropylene.
